Taylor Swift has released another “from the vault” song – ‘Mr. Perfectly Fine’, from her upcoming re-recording of her 2008 ‘Fearless’.

Plug in those earphones and get ready to re-live your heartbreak with this track that has Taylor calling out her famous exes (no points for guessing who they are). Before Swifties could go into overdrive and start connecting the dots in the lyrics, she said in a tweet, “Me in 2020: life is chill, writing songs based on fiction to avoid drama, pretty grown-up,” she tweeted Wednesday morning. “My 2008 music from the vault, in a goblin voice: ‘REELEEEEEEASE MR PERFECTLY FIIIIIIINE’.”

Swifties, none the less, took to social media to share their honest reaction about the heartbreak track that is all things catchy and sassy. Some connected the lyrics “Mr casually cruel” to her tracks on ‘Red’, which is said to reference her relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Others seemed to think the song was also based on Joe jonas. Sophie Turner sharing the song on her handle only seemed to have fuelled these speculations.

See how Swifties reacted to the song:

Just over an hour of its release, ‘Mr. Perfectly Fine’ reached the Number 1 spot on US iTunes charts. With this, the song has become her 48th #1 track, extending her record as the artist with the most No. 1 songs on US iTunes history.

‘Mr. Perfectly Fine’ was written back in 2008, but didn’t make it on the ‘Fearless’ album. The surprise drop comes a few days before the highly anticipated release of ‘Fearless’ (Taylor’s Version), which will be the first album she re-recorded since her masters were purchased and resold by Scooter Braun.

So far, Taylor has released ‘You All Over Me’ featuring Maren Morris, one of the six songs from the vault, and ‘Love Story (Taylor’s Version)’, with a new video dedicated to her fans.

‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’ releases this Friday.
